Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Gulf Air is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to support our email campaign operations and reporting, as well as regular and ad hoc digital reporting. This role will also involve developing cross-marketing and testing campaigns in addition to supporting email campaign setup.
Main Duties:
- Supports and proactively manages the development and execution of all digital marketing initiatives including social media, website, and automation programs.
- Helps improve position of ecommerce platforms by developing a website traffic plan and creating goals and benchmarks to meet.
- Optimizes website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability through various strategies.
- Executes and tracks Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing campaigns to improve conversion rates for digital marketing campaigns and Gulf Air's website and subsites.
- Develops social media plans, owns the social media content calendar, and directs efficient use of paid search.
- Prepares online newsletters and promotional emails and organizes their distribution through various channels.
- Provides creative ideas for content marketing and updates the website.
- Collaborates with the team to improve user experience.
- Tracks campaign ROI (Return on Investment) and provides insights for marketing based on data performance.
- Manages social media channels, including publishing content and actively monitoring its effectiveness and results.
- Ensures all digital marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- A/B Testing campaigns to trial new ideas for effectiveness.
- Works to strict deadlines and KPI's as set by the Manager Digital Operations.
- Serves as a brand ambassador to ensure all material consistently portrays the Gulf Air brand promise, identity and positioning.
- Follows campaign operations best practices as developed by the Digital Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing with good industry knowledge.
- Strong knowledge in the area of content production for the internet (text, images, HTML and other multimedia).
- Experience in data management platform will have an added advantage.
- Extensive internet marketing knowledge, with particular reference to Search Engine Optimisation, e-Mail marketing, SEM and display advertising.
- Have a thorough understanding of database marketing best practices.
- Technical and/or web education (formal or on the field).
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
