About the job Restaurant Server / Waiter

Our client in the F&B industry is searching for a dedicated and energetic Restaurant Server/Waiter for an Egyptian Cuisine restaurant to ensure an exceptional dining experience for their guests.

About the Role:

In this fast-paced environment, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant floor.

Responsibilities:

  1. Warmly greet guests and present menus.
  2. Assist with seating and answer menu questions, offering recommendations when requested.
  3. Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems.
  4. Ensure special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, replenishing supplies and bussing tables.
  6. Deliver food and beverages efficiently and attentively, adhering to service standards.
  7. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  8. Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  9. Collaborate with colleagues, including bussers, kitchen staff, and bartenders, to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  10. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  11. Perform opening and closing sidework duties.
  12. Stay updated on menu changes, specials, and promotions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. 2 to 3 Years of experience
  2. Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
  3. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, and manage multiple tables simultaneously.
  6. Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  7. Very good knowledge of food and beverage service.
