Position: Specialist Occupational Medicine

Job Overview: Our prestigious client in Bahrain is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Medicine / Physician to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in occupational medicine and a passion for promoting the health and well-being of employees in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive occupational health assessments and provide recommendations for employee health and safety.
2. Develop and implement strategies to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.
3. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement health promotion programs.
5. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
6. Manage and maintain employee health records and ensure confidentiality.
7. Conduct audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
8. Provide training and education to employees on occupational health and safety topics.
9. Collaborate with HR and management to develop return-to-work programs for employees on sick leave.
10. Participate in the development and review of company policies and procedures related to occupational health and safety.

Qualifications:

1. MBBS Medical degree and specialization in Occupational Medicine is a must.
2. Valid license to practice as a Specialist Occupational Medicine.
