Job description

We seek a highly qualified Group Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a dynamic holding company with diverse subsidiaries in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing a centralized finance function, strengthening financial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Establish and oversee a centralized finance function, ensuring alignment with the groups strategic objectives.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
  3. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, to provide insights for decision-making.
  4. Manage financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  5. Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, risk management, and banking relationships.
  6. Lead the implementation of the financial modules of an ERP system (Odoo).
  7. Drive financial systems and processes improvement initiatives.
  8. Manage financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  9. Provide financial support to subsidiaries, including financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  3. Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  4. Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
  5. Experience in implementing financial modules on ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
  6. Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong leadership and communication skills.
