We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across multiple markets in the GCC region. As CTO, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our high-growth platform, driving scalability, product development, and technical operations in a regulated environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires a strong focus on customer experience, security, and cross-market consistency. You will lead engineering, Dev Ops, infrastructure, and data functions, working closely with the CEO to set and deliver the end-to-end technology roadmap as CTO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and delivering the end-to-end technology roadmap as CTO.
• Leading the revamp and scale-up of a digital financial platform.
• Building and launching products across areas like BNPL, microfinance, and regionally compliant financial solutions.
• Overseeing infrastructure, uptime, security, and cloud performance.
• Embedding Dev Ops and automation to support agile delivery.
• Driving AI/ML adoption for decisioning, risk, and personalisation.
• Ensuring compliance with complex regional data and financial regulations.
• Developing and aligning teams across multiple countries.
• Leading vendor and partner relationships to support delivery.

Requirements:

• Around 15+ years in senior technology leadership, ideally in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated tech environments.
• Proven ability to scale platforms from early-stage to mass-market usage.
• Hands-on technical capability.
• Experience across cloud, security, and infrastructure strategy.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory risk in financial services.
