Overall Role Purpose

Manage and develop the assigned field sales territory to maintain and grow DHL's market leadership. Achieve personal sales targets while meeting key customer needs.

Your Tasks:
  1. Manage and develop a portfolio of prospects and existing customers by building strong relationships to ensure customer needs are recognized and met.
  2. Establish customer agreements, ensure pricing guidelines are followed, and profitability targets are met. Regularly review customer prices and renegotiate when discrepancies between actual and promised volumes occur.
  3. Develop strategies to secure business from competitors and prospects quickly. Build a prospects pipeline to support this approach and target accordingly.
  4. Exploit all opportunities from existing and potential customers to maximize DHL's penetration in the assigned territory.
  5. Create and implement a personal sales plan and call cycle aimed at gaining new business and growing existing accounts to meet sales volume and profitability targets.
  6. Manage customer-related information by communicating with the sales team and updating sales systems for accessible customer and territory data.
  7. Monitor customer performance, loyalty, and satisfaction to gauge success and identify risks. Take corrective actions as needed.
  8. Represent DHL's brand and values through professional appearance and conduct, fostering strong customer relationships.
Your Profile:
  1. At least three years of sales experience, preferably in the service industry.
  2. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  4. Effective influencing skills.
  5. Demonstrated drive and initiative.
  6. Strong numerical skills.
  7. Proficiency in computer applications.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. Strong analytical skills.
  10. Commercial focus.
  11. Highly self-motivated.
  12. Effective presentation skills.
  13. Proven sales track record.
  14. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
