Explore more jobs in Bahrain is seeking a Duty Engineer to join the Engineering Office. You will attend morning briefings, plan, supervise, and inspect maintenance, repair, and construction activities to ensure adherence to preventive maintenance plans.

Responsibilities include coordinating work orders, troubleshooting equipment, providing technical support to technicians, overseeing manpower distribution, handling maintenance requests and emergencies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar hotel/large facility role.
• Trade license or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Duties: Attend regular morning briefings with the Assistant Chief Engineer/Dir of Engineer, alongside staff in the Engineering Office/Workshop; maintain records and prepare reports.
• Maintenance Planning and Supervision: Plan, assign, inspect, and supervise maintenance, repair, and construction activities; follow up on preventive maintenance plans; generate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Work Order Management: Assign and distribute work orders, inform supervisors of status, coordinate with others as needed.
• Technical Support and Emergency Response: Check and troubleshoot equipment; provide technical assistance; perform emergency repairs; manage tools and supplies; handle maintenance requests and emergencies across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and major equipment.
• Safety and Coordination: Ensure safe practices, stock parts, maintain workshop cleanliness; report major issues; support crews during emergencies or incidents.
