Job summary

Charles Russell Speechlys seeks an Associate with 2-4 PQE to join its Bahrain office, focusing on corporate and finance work. You will advise international clients on complex corporate, commercial, and finance transactions, with opportunities for secondments and close collaboration with the MENA team.

Candidate should have strong drafting and due diligence skills, excellent teamwork, and the ability to manage matters across jurisdictions in a dynamic, client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate, commercial, or finance work.
• Experience advising on corporate, commercial and finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise diverse clients on corporate advisory, governance, private capital, and structuring matters.
• Handle acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Draft commercial contracts, group reorganizations, restructurings, and banking/finance transactions.
• Manage due diligence processes, coordinate legal teams, and review corporate/commercial documents.
• Provide support on financial services regulatory matters, including the CBB Rulebook.
• Undertake secondment work within key client in-house legal teams as required.
