Job summary

Apparel Group is seeking a merchandising analyst to ensure products appear in the right stores at the right time and quantity, coordinating with stores, logistics and buying teams. You will prepare and analyze Retail Pro reports, Sell Thru, and range plans to maximize profitability.

The role requires deep analysis of sales data, collaboration across departments, and attention to confidentiality in handling documents. You will contribute to product assortment decisions and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and analyzing merchandising reports such as Retail Pro and Sell Thru.
• Ability to analyze product performance, price points, colors and styles.
• Strong communication with stores, logistics, warehouse, and buying teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Retail Pro reports, Sell Thru and other merchandising reports.
• Liaise with stores, logistics & warehouse to ensure product supply meets demand.
• Analyze best and worst sellers, including price points, colors and styles.
• Analyze previous season's sales and report on current season lines.
• Optimize volume and profitability of product categories.
• Coordinate with buying team on product issues and range planning, sales analysis and deliveries.
• Prepare merchandise plans and information for range presentations and reviews for buyers/brand manager.
• Report on competitors' offerings and inform Brand team of opportunities.
• Process various Retail Pro reports and invoices accurately and confidentially.
• Work with Merchandise Planning on product range and right mix at sub category/price points.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION OBJECTIVE The position is responsible to ensure that the products appear in the right store at the right time and in right quantity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Retail Pro reports, Sell Thru and other merchandising reports such as consolidation sheet and product breakdown reports
• Liaise with stores / logistics & warehouse department to ensure product supply meets demand
• Analyze every aspect of the best and worst sellers (for example, the best selling price points, colors or styles)
• Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines
• Optimize the volume and profitability of product categories
• Gather information relating to customer reaction towards the products
• Coordinate with buying team on product issues (orders, repeats, damages etc.) and assist in range planning, sales analysis and deliveries
• Preparation of merchandise plans and other Information required for product range presentations and reviews for the buyers / brand manager
• Report competition's offerings and analyzing opportunities to the Brand team
• Skillfully manages processing of various retail pro reports and invoices
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records
• Ensures strict confidentiality in maintaining all the documents entrusted
• Working closely with the Merchandise Planning team on the product range, planning to maximize commercial opportunities for products, as well as getting the right product mix in the business at sub category/price point level
