PPOAR in Dar Kulaib is looking for a motivated Junior Baker to join our bakery team. You will assist experienced bakers in preparing bread, pastries and cakes in a fast-paced shop environment.

No prior bakery experience is required as training is provided on the job. The role demands early morning work, weekends and holidays, with a monthly salary of $1300 and opportunities to learn hands-on in a growing bakery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Passion for baking and willingness to learn from experienced bakers
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Basic understanding of food safety principles
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
• Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
• Monitor the baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
• Decorate and finish products with fillings, glazes, toppings, and icings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
