Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute architectural designs under the Line Manager/Manager guidance.
• Carry out architectural analysis, design and detailing for building works.
• Establish plan and supervise design works on site during execution.
• Assist Line Manager/Senior Architect in supervising construction contractors to ensure designs are followed.
• Review third-party proposals and shop drawings with architects/designers.
• Coordinate with other designers, including geotechnical and MEP engineers, on safe, aesthetic designs.
• Capture and share learnings across the Group for future projects.
• Comply with risk, safety and information security requirements; complete mandatory training.
• Participate in BC drills and continuity planning as required.

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE The key principles of the role are the preparation and execution of Architectural Designs under the direction of the Manager in accordance with BAC procedures to meet and exceed client expectations whilst working within a multi-disciplined team and maintaining customer relationships. The role also requires the supervision of architecturally focused construction works and the ability to manage small/medium projects where the focus is primarily architecture or building oriented. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Engineering Responsible for the success and execution of architectural designs assigned by the Line Manager or Senior Architect and any further assigned technical projects Carry out architectural analysis, design and detailing of architectural components of a buidling works Budget and Planning Establish a plan / programme on design works, define related objectives and follow up of design work through effective supervision on site during execution. Support the Line Manager or Senior Architect in the supervision of construction contractors to ensure that infrastructure works are constructed in accordance with the designs Assist the Line Manager in the review and comment on third party architectural proposals including designs and shop drawings Processes and Procedures Assist the Line Manager or Senior Architect in coordinating with other designers, including other architects, geotechnical and MEP engineers , to investigate all conditions affecting architectural design and to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction Capture and share learning in order to benefit future developments across the Group. RISK, COMPLIANCE AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY Compliance Follow all, risk, compliance, and Code of Conduct requirements when performing daily duties. Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training within the required timelines. Report suspected misconduct, policy violations, or regulatory concerns through approved channels. Risk and Information Security Protect business information at all time and adhere to information security procedures. Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or suspected information-security breaches immediately. Maintain accurate and accessible documentation relevant to assigned duties. Safety Comply with SMS safety procedures and guidelines Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions and incidents promptly Use appropriate PPE and support a positive safety culture through responsible behavior Business Continuity Understand assigned BC responsibilities and follow organizational continuity plans Participate in all required BC drills, simulations, and training Remain reachable/on-call and report to work if required during Business Continuity or command center activation Notify management before international travel to support continuity planning
