Job description

Kemco Technologies is a service company specializing in delivering advanced chemistry and methods for plants that purify or utilize water. We recognize the value of water conservation and optimal utilization for industrial plants and utilities. By recruiting experienced chemists, engineers, service technicians, and expert chemistry suppliers, we deliver responsive local service to plants across the region.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, independent accountant to help us clean up and maintain accurate books, handle day-to-day accounting operations, and support our audit process. This is a key position within our finance function and will work closely with both management and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean up and restructure past accounting records, resolving inconsistencies in product, batch, and margin reporting
• Perform full-charge bookkeeping using Tally ERP, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial data management
• Calculate and manage landed cost data for imports and inventory valuation
• Support audit preparation and finalization, including cleanup of historical accounts
• Reconcile vendor balances, bank transactions, and intercompany records
• Coordinate with the operations and administrative team to ensure accurate PO, invoice, and stock entry handling

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting, ideally within trading, distribution, or services sectors
• Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP is required
• Strong understanding of inventory-integrated accounting and margin tracking
• Prior experience in rectifying or restructuring books of accounts
• Fluent in English and capable of working independently with attention to detail
• Adaptable and solution-oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn and take ownership
• Take full ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and year-end processes as the primary and only in-house accountant.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Candidates with additional Tally certifications, audit experience, or hands-on exposure to inventory and cost accounting will be prioritized.
