Job Responsibilities and Missions

As an aide-soignant/aide-soignante, the main responsibilities include:

• Intervening in the field of Geriatrics
• Providing personal hygiene, comfort, and preventive care to patients/residents
• Informing and advising patients/residents and their families
• Informing patients/residents about their stay in the service, including installation, visit hours, and intervention at home
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing patient/resident rooms and sanitary facilities
• Informing patients/residents about recreational activities or accompanying them in these activities
• Participating in mortuary care
• Distributing meals and snacks to patients/residents according to their needs or medical prescription
• Assisting patients/residents with daily life tasks and monitoring changes in their condition
• Receiving, distributing, and processing laundry for the service and patients/residents
• Updating activity records and exchanging information with the team
• Measuring patients'/residents' vital signs, monitoring medical devices, and reporting to the nurse
• Cleaning, disinfecting equipment and instruments, and disposing of waste
• Intervening in the field of Palliative Care
• Monitoring patients'/residents' general condition, distributing medication, and reporting any abnormalities or risks to the nurse
