Job summary

Inetum is seeking a hands-on Wintel System Engineer to strengthen our Microsoft infrastructure expertise and support customers transforming their IT environments. You’ll work on Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server and hybrid cloud projects, owning technical delivery from planning to validation.

You will lead end-to-end migrations, manage AD and DNS/DHCP, and document solutions for operational teams, ensuring business continuity and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end server migrations and upgrades.
• Strong skills in configuring and managing AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and authentication services.
• Experience with SQL Server environments, Always On and Windows Failover Clustering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and optimize Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
• Lead and execute end-to-end server migrations, including Windows Server upgrades and modernization projects.
• Manage and migrate Active Directory environments, including domain migrations, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and authentication services.
• Implement and support SQL Server environments, including upgrades, Always On and clustering.
• Perform application and file server migrations with minimal downtime.
• Work with hybrid infrastructure, combining on-premises Microsoft tech with cloud solutions.
• Prepare migration strategies, including cutover planning and post-migration validation.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and deliver sustainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, understand requirements and own project delivery.
• Provide clear technical and as-built documentation and knowledge transfer.

Are you an experienced Wintel System Engineer with a passion for Microsoft infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments? Do you enjoy taking technical ownership, solving complex infrastructure challenges and helping customers modernize their IT environments?

At Inetum, we’re looking for a hands-on Wintel System Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure expertise and support our customers in transforming and optimizing their Microsoft environments.

In this role, you’ll work on challenging infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, SQL Server platforms and hybrid cloud environments.

You’ll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from technical analysis and planning to implementation, migration, validation and documentation.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, maintain and optimize Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
• Lead and execute end-to-end server migrations, including Windows Server upgrades and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Manage and migrate Active Directory environments, including domain migrations, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and authentication services.
• Implement and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including platform upgrades, Always On Availability Groups and Windows Failover Clustering.
• Perform application and file server migrations, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
• Work with hybrid infrastructure environments, combining on-premises Microsoft technologies with cloud-based solutions.
• Prepare and execute migration strategies, including cutover planning, rollback scenarios and post-migration validation.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide sustainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate directly with customers, understand their technical requirements and take ownership of project delivery.
• Deliver clear technical documentation, as-built documentation and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for your projects while collaborating with specialized experts whenever specific technical challenges require additional expertise.
