Wlgroup seeks a hands-on Remote Desktop Services Engineer in Mons to design, deploy, and fix large Windows RDS environments, and to help automate the build of deployable kits for the defence sector.

You will maintain Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, and related core services while monitoring performance, solving connectivity and login issues, and documenting changes for the service desk. This is a senior, on-site role with 3+ years of enterprise experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing core services in a large enterprise.
• 3+ years building, running and troubleshooting large Windows RDS environments.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016–2025, Windows 10/11, Exchange, DNS, and large AD estates.
• Experience with VDI and virtualization (VMware vSphere).
• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VCP, CCNA or CCDA.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot RDS environments including session hosts and RD Gateway.
• Manage RDS farms, collections, RemoteApp, and FSLogix profiles.
• Monitor performance, fix login, profile, and printing issues.
• Maintain core services: AD, DNS, Exchange, web hosting, and updates.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and support automated kit deployments.
• Keep documentation up to date and coordinate incidents with service desk.

A multinational defence organisation in Mons runs large Remote Desktop Services environments on top of its core Windows services. It needs an engineer to design, run and fix them, and to help automate the build of the deployable kits it sends out.

What you would be doing

• Designing, deploying and troubleshooting RDS: session hosts, RD Gateway, RD Web and licensing
• Managing RDS farms, collections and RemoteApp, FSLogix profiles and the Group Policy around them
• Monitoring performance and capacity, and fixing connectivity, login, profile and printing issues
• Maintaining core services: Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, web hosting and update services
• Automating routine work with PowerShell and supporting automated deployment of new kits
• Keeping documentation and as-built guides current, and working incidents and changes with the service desk

What you would bring

• 3 or more years managing core services in a large enterprise
• At least 3 years building, running and troubleshooting large Windows RDS environments, with tools such as Syskit or RDPManager
• Windows Server 2016 to 2025, Windows 10 and 11, Exchange, DNS and large Active Directory estates
• VDI, VMware vSphere, and ideally SharePoint, ADFS and Veeam or Rubrik
• Deployable systems or exercise experience and ITIL Service Operation
• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VCP, CCNA or CCDA
