Job summary

Toyota Motor Europe, based at the Zaventem Technical Centre in Brussels, seeks an Engineer in Body Assembly to shape future mobility. The role involves translating vehicle concepts into mass‑production processes and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

The candidate will work on design feasibility, cost optimization, and implementing innovative technologies, with potential international postings and two‑year assignments abroad.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of welding experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Hands-on shopfloor experience with production teams.
• Experience with CATIA V5, Process Simulate, AutoCAD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate vehicle design into scalable manufacturing concepts.
• Assess data against manufacturing standards and impacts on processes.
• Collaborate with Production and Equipment teams to evaluate feasibility.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Lead process improvements and equipment design using 3D models and BOMs.
• Explore new manufacturing tech including digital tools and automation.
