Job summary

HumanInTech is hiring a full-time technician to join a regional team responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment installations and pumping stations in the Antwerp region. You will contribute directly to improving water quality in Flemish streams and rivers.

Based at a main water treatment site, you will travel across the surrounding region, performing electrical and mechanical checks, sampling, and data reporting while adhering to safety requirements and using IT reporting tools.

Qualifications

• BA4 certificate (or BA5) for electrical work
• Basic knowledge of industrial electricity
• Experience with process monitoring and trend analysis
• Ability to work independently after training
• Proficiency in Dutch
• Safety awareness and PPE compliance

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage water treatment installations and pumping stations in the Antwerp region
• Ensure purification processes run optimally with electrical/mechanical checks and water sample analysis
• Troubleshoot malfunctions such as blocked pumps and adjust processes
• Perform laboratory work, administrative tasks, and digital reporting
• Work at a main installation and travel across the surrounding region
