Medista NV in Belgium seeks warehouse operators to handle inbound and outbound logistics, pick-pack, and stock maintenance. You will log activities in the WMS, follow GDP/GMP procedures, and contribute to improving workflows.

Training for forklift operation may be provided, with opportunities to specialize in logistics tasks. Fluency in either French or Dutch is required, English basics are an asset, and prior experience in logistics or pharmaceutical environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Languages: French or Dutch, English basic is an asset.
• Experience in logistics or pharmaceutical production environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceuticals or willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Follow inbound of goods in the warehouse.
• Perform product pickings and parcel creation on demand.
• Certified to operate forklift or willing to undertake training.
• Prepare deliveries for outbound for drivers.
• Participate in maintenance or stock audits.
• Log all activities in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Follow procedures and escalation with quality team when issues arise.
• Attend trainings on GDP/GMP procedures and contribute to process improvements.

From vaccines and rare medicines to medical devices, at MEDISTA our warehouse operators are always working with products that improve the lives of many. We are looking to expand our team of warehouse operators. As an operator you are active in our warehouse from the inbound of goods, over the picking and outbound-activities.

Your Role

• You will follow up on the inbound of goods within the warehouses
• You perform product-pickings and the creation of parcel upon demand
• You are certified to work with a forklift or willing to undertake the required training course.
• You prepare the deliveries for outbound for our teams of drivers
• You are involved in recurring activities such as maintenance or stock audits
• You ensure all activities are logged in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• You apply the procedures rigorously, keeping track of exceptions or touching base with the quality-team when somethings is awry
• You follow regular trainings on internal rules, GDP- or GMP-procedures
• During the trainings you contribute to problem solving and improving our ways of working

Your Background

• You master French or Dutch, both or a basic understanding of English is an asset.
• You preferably have in a logistics- or a pharmaceutical production environment
• You have a basic understanding of the world of pharmaceuticals or are willing to learn.
