Job summary

Allianz Belgium in Brussels is looking for a Portfolio Manager specialized in Workers' Accidents (WAC) to lead the P&C SME and MidCorp portfolios with a focus on technical excellence and profitable growth.

You will define underwriting strategies, monitor performance, and collaborate with underwriting and reinsurance teams to implement initiatives. The role offers extensive training and a dynamic, international environment with fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics/business is required/strongly preferred.
• Proven underwriter experience in Workers' Accidents or related portfolio steering.
• Project management skills or experience leading projects in a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead, steer, monitor and control the WAC portfolio to drive profitable growth within target risk segments.
• Develop underwriting strategy and guidelines for the assigned LOB and work with Underwriting to implement it.
• Manage exceptional UW referrals and liaise with Reinsurance for facultative needs.
• Define and execute technical product and pricing development to support the WAC proposition.
• Coordinate with multiple Allianz Belgium departments and represent Technical P&C Midcorp externally.
