BNY is seeking a Vice President to lead Sustainability Regulatory Strategy & Execution in Europe, partnering with Corporate Functions to ensure disclosure readiness, controls, and governance across the region. You will shape the regulatory strategy and drive execution across entities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of sustainability, finance, accounting, economics, public policy, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA sustainability and prudential regulatory requirements (EU Taxonomy, CRR3, CRD VI, Pillar 3).
• Experience in sustainability reporting, prudential/regulatory reporting, ESG governance, or related discipline in financial services.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive presence and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with sustainability data, digital tools, and automation is preferred.

• Serve as a senior partner across Corporate Functions, driving high-quality disclosures, strengthening reporting readiness and controls.
• Lead EMEA regulatory execution and governance strategy for sustainability and climate-related requirements.
• Advise on EU Taxonomy, CRR3, CRD VI, and Pillar 3 reporting.
• Drive delivery of priority regulatory workstreams from interpretation to governance design and disclosure readiness.
• Influence senior stakeholders to align on priorities and embed regulatory expectations across the organization.
• Oversee disclosures and supporting materials across governance, strategy, risk management, metrics, targets, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen reporting quality, data integrity, and automation through process improvements.
