Schneider Electric Belgium is seeking a VIE Methods Engineer to drive a major industrial digital transformation. You will support MES deployment for production management, integrate a Quality module for digital traceability, and design efficient manufacturing methods in a cross-functional, international setting.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, collaboration with Production, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, IT, and Project Management, and the development of SOPs.

Qualifications

• Master's or Engineering degree in Industrial/Manufacturing fields.
• Internships or apprenticeships in Industrial Methods/Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or related areas.
• Interest in digital technologies, industrial systems, and manufacturing transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic international environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with MES is a plus.
• English proficiency (professional) required.
• Dutch language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support deployment of a standard MES solution for production management and performance monitoring.
• Lead integration of a Quality module within MES to enable end-to-end digital traceability across manufacturing processes.
• Design and optimize manufacturing methods and production systems balancing efficiency, ergonomics, capacity, and Lean principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, IT, and Project Management.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in process design workshops to define To-Be processes and align with SAP S/4HANA standards.
