Médiane Benelux is seeking a V&V Engineer to strengthen its teams working on high-safety signaling systems for railway projects. You will contribute to V&V strategy, define verification methodologies, create test plans, and perform verification, integration, and testing.

Strong analytical skills and experience in railway software validation are required. Based in the Charleroi area, the role spans from sensor to cloud with a focus on safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Good understanding of software development.
• Experience in V&V within railway and signaling domains.
• Knowledge of at least one railway platform.
• Solid knowledge of ETCS Trackside Level 1 and Level 2.
• Interlocking principles.
• Technical skills in Python, C/C++, and tools (AI is a plus).

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the definition of the V&V strategy and ensure its proper implementation
• Define verification methodologies for selected deliverables
• Create test plans and detailed test specifications
• Perform verification, integration, and testing activities
• Analyze and report test results
• Collaborate with the Safety Assurance Manager on safety-related topics
• Interface with technical teams to align on V&V methodologies
• Follow up on tests executed on-site (TC)
• Manage configuration and change management related to V&V activities
• Set up and configure test environments (test benches, instrumentation)
• Provide data for KPI monitoring
• Represent the project towards customers and partners (progress, risks, opportunities)
