Médiane Benelux is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for a long-term mission in a critical IT environment focused on railway infrastructure data. You will design structured test scenarios, implement automated suites, and ensure high-quality software delivery across DEV, INT, TST, ACC, and PROD environments.

The role requires 10–15+ years in software testing, strong automation and manual testing skills, Agile/Scrum experience, and proficiency with tests for fat-clients, web, and API.

Qualifications

• Mandatory ISTQB certification and strong testing background.
• Experience in testing complex data-driven or infrastructure systems.
• Proven ability to design structured test scenarios and automate.
• Experience with multi-environment validation and release pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Design structured test scenarios from business and technical requirements.

• Implement and maintain automated test suites.
• Execute manual tests and ensure full coverage across environments.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer for a long-term mission within a critical IT environment focused on railway infrastructure data. The role supports systems managing network assets and real-time traffic planning through high-quality, reliable software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design structured test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
• Estimate testing effort and document test strategies
• Implement and maintain automated test suites
• Execute manual tests and ensure full coverage across environments
• Produce clear test reports for all environments (DEV, INT, TST, ACC, PROD)
• Identify, document, and track defects and regressions
• Contribute actively to Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Continuously improve existing testing processes and tools

Scope

• Infrastructure data systems (rail network, signals, switches)
• Graph-based data models and real-time systems
• Integration with planning and monitoring platforms
• Multi-environment validation and release pipelines

Experience

• 10–15+ years in software testing and quality engineering
• Strong experience in test automation and manual testing
• Proven background in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with fat-client, web, and API testing
• Testing tools: TestComplete, HP ALM, HP UFT
• API testing and validation
• CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git
• Linux environments
• Databases: SQL, PL/SQL
• Data formats: XML, JSON, XSLT, gRPC
• Certifications
• ISTQB (mandatory)
• HP Quality Center (preferred)
• Languages
• French: C2
