Médiane Benelux is seeking a V&V Engineer to strengthen teams working on high-safety signaling systems within critical railway projects. You will contribute to V&V strategy, define verification methodologies, and create detailed test specifications.

Responsibilities include performing verification, integration, testing, analyzing results, and coordinating with safety managers and technical teams to ensure robust validation. On-site testing and change management are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Good understanding of software development.
• Experience in V&V within railway and signaling domains.
• Knowledge of at least one railway platform.

• Follow up on tests executed on-site (T&C).
• Manage configuration and change management related to V&V activities.
• Set up and configure test environments (test benches, instrumentation).
• Provide data for KPI monitoring.
• Represent the project towards customers and partners (progress, risks, opportunities).

Job Description

As part of critical projects in the railway industry, our client is looking for a V&V Engineer (Verification & Validation) to strengthen its teams working on high-safety signaling systems.

Profile / Requirements

Required Profile & Skills :

• Strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of software development
• Experience in V&V within railway and signaling domains
• Knowledge of at least one railway platform

Solid Knowledge Of

• ETCS Trackside Level 1 and Level 2
• Interlocking principles
• Technical skills in Python, C/C++, and tools (AI is a plus)

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of multiple railway platforms
• Understanding of design and data preparation processes
• Engineering/system background
• Minimum 2 years of experience in complex and regulated environments
