Job summary

VeroTech BV is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to join our consultancy team. You will contribute to verification activities for complex components, assess design, behavior and performance through structured testing using manual and automated approaches.

The role requires hands-on testing, development of test cases, automation, and clear reporting across IT systems, IP networks and serial protocols. At least 3 years of experience and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar V&V role.
• Fair understanding of IT systems, IP networks and serial protocols.
• Hands-on automation with Robot Framework, Bash or Python.
• Ability to design and execute manual or automated test strategies.
• Strong problem-solving for diagnosing network and system issues.
• Knowledge of cryptography or HSMs is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate components to evaluate design, behavior and performance.
• Develop and execute test cases to verify requirements and the test strategy.
• Automate test procedures to improve verification and validation efficiency.
• Perform manual and automated tests, then analyze results to assess system quality.
• Document test procedures, reports, findings and progress updates.
