Vivid Resourcing seeks a Verification Engineer to drive structured verification from requirements to test campaigns. The role spans software, electronics/hardware and mechanical systems, with hands-on troubleshooting and a focus on automation using Python.
You will work with multidisciplinary R&D teams to translate specs into verification plans, execute tests, analyze failures and ensure products meet quality standards throughout development.
We're currently hiring for a Verification Engineer to play a key role in ensuring that products meet their defined requirements and specifications throughout the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for translating product requirements and technical specifications into clear and structured verification plans, test cases and test campaigns, ensuring that designs are systematically verified before they move into production or reach the customer.
The role is highly hands-on and multidisciplinary. You will be involved in verifying software, electronics/hardware and mechanical systems, giving you the opportunity to work across different areas of the product rather than focusing on a single testing discipline. You will execute verification activities, analyse results, investigate failures and work closely with R&D engineers to identify root causes and ensure that requirements are fully met.
A key part of the position will also be developing and improving automated verification using Python. You will look for opportunities to automate repetitive tests, build scripts and test tools, and improve the efficiency, reliability and repeatability of the overall verification process. The role therefore combines practical engineering and troubleshooting with software-based test automation.
You will work closely with software, hardware, mechanical and systems engineers, providing feedback from verification activities and helping to identify potential design issues early in the development process. Your work will have a direct impact on product quality, reliability and compliance with defined requirements.
