XAnge, a DeepTech investor, is seeking an engineer-minded professional to identify and champion breakthrough European companies. You will evaluate opportunities with a strong technical lens, lead deep-dives, and manage the internal investment process end-to-end.

Fluency in English and French, 2–5 years in VC/startups, and proficiency with Notion/Airtable/Pipedrive are valued; German is a plus. This role involves representing XAnge at events and supporting portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s in science/tech background valued.
• 2–5 years of experience in VC, startups, Deep tech, or tech consulting.
• Genuine passion for AI and Deep Technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
• Empathetic listener with integrity and conviction.
• Clear, synthetic writing and oral communication.
• Agile with tools (Notion, Airtable, Pipedrive, Zapier).
• Fluent in English & French — German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Source investment opportunities in DeepTech and AI across Europe.
• Conduct proactive deep dives on 3–4 sector themes per year.
• Build and maintain a strategic network of dealflow sources (founders, angels, incubators, labs, other funds).
• Analyze and select investment opportunities with a strong technical lens.
• Present key opportunities at the weekly Monday meeting.
• Lead deep dives alongside a Partner/Principal: entrepreneur meetings, expert due diligence, memo preparation and IC presentation.
• Manage the internal investment process end-to-end.
• Participate in LOI negotiation, due diligence, audits, legal documentation, and coordination with back/middle office.
• Support portfolio companies: board preparation, reporting, fundraising, recruitment, and business planning.
• Contribute to exit processes: deal structuring, legal documentation, and closing.
• Represent XAnge at startup events and in the media.
• Contribute to team-wide initiatives: intern recruitment & training, LP relations, marketing, and Startup Success.
