RGNext seeks an Electronics Technician II to support L-band and S-band radar systems on Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization to ensure continuous radar operations in a demanding environment.
The ideal candidate has an associate degree in electronics or RF and 2+ years in electronics, with experience in high-power transmitters and RF/microwave systems.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in electronics, RF or related tech, or 2-year tech school, or equivalent military experience.
- Two years+ experience in electronics with strong knowledge.
- Experience with high power transmitters.
- RF and Microwave transmitter/receiver understanding.
- Maintenance on vacuum tubes and high power microwave transmitters.
Responsabilités
- Provide operations & maintenance support for L-band and S-band radar hardware systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair radar hardware.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the radar.
- Support engineers on implementation of improvement and modernization projects.
- Assist in equipment design modifications, drawings and testing.
- Perform shift work to support 24x7 radar operations.
