Job Description

The Faculty of Law at the University of Namur is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Centre de recherche Information droit et société (Crids) Namur Digital Institute (NADI).

Grade: Assistant de recherche - Research assistant

Contract: Fixed-term contract for one year, renewable

Category: Scientific personnel

Post: Hors-Allocation (CPO)

Missions

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Conduct research in digital law, particularly in the field of e-health, as part of research contracts for external sponsors (Public Services, DG, European Commission, etc.)
  • Participate in the activities of the centre, including meetings, collective research projects, and continuous education programs
Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Law (or equivalent) with a distinction (or above) grade
  • Have at least two years of experience in the field of digital law, particularly in the e-health sector
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in data protection and data governance and/or the development of AI in the healthcare sector
  • Have a perfect command of French and a minimum B2 level in English, with a good knowledge of Dutch
  • Have excellent writing and presentation skills in French and English
