Expleo Belgium seeks a UFT Test Automation Engineer with strong software testing and defect handling experience. You will work with OpenText UFT, HP ALM, and VBScript within hybrid automation frameworks to deliver robust automation solutions for clients.

The role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing automated tests, reporting clearly, and collaborating across development and testing teams. ISTQB Foundation certification and hands‑on UFT are required.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with OpenText UFT, HP ALM, VBScript and Hybrid Automation Frameworks
• Strong understanding of software testing principles
• Ability to troubleshoot automation failures and distinguish between script maintenance and defects
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts using OpenText UFT
• Experience optimising existing object repositories and test scripts

Responsabilités

• Apply strong functional knowledge and understanding of software testing principles
• Analyse test requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage
• Identify defects at an early stage and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
• Maintain clear reporting and follow up on identified issues and defects
• Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using OpenText UFT
• Optimise object repositories and test scripts for performance and reusability
• Maintain and utilise HP ALM for test management and execution activities
• Plan and manage test cycles and test suites and execution
• Maintain accurate test execution results and associated documentation
• Track defects through to resolution and ensure follow‑up
