Job summary

MVVP lawyers | advocaten | avocats, a Brussels-based firm, seeks a Corporate Associate to handle the full lifecycle of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. You will work with Belgian and EU governance issues and draft contracts and opinions, collaborating with partners and clients in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of legal practice, a tri-lingual profile (English, Dutch, French), and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to contribute

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a lawyer.
• Additional master's degree is an asset.
• Trilingual proficiency in English, Dutch and French.
• Strong legal analysis skills.
• Disciplined; entrepreneurial mindset; self-critical; team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
• Provide advice on Belgian and European corporate governance rules and compliance.
• Draft legal opinions, contracts and corporate documents like incorporation and shareholder agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations and, where applicable, legal proceedings.
