Symrise AG in Brussels seeks a Treasury & General Administrative Expert (m/f/d) to join our Brussels-based treasury entity, part of a highly international finance team.

You will contribute to intercompany financing activities, BE GAAP statutory reporting and financial statement preparation, while collaborating with auditors, banks and Symrise subsidiaries worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or related field.
• Several years of accounting/treasury experience.
• Knowledge of Belgian GAAP (BE GAAP).
• Treasury knowledge in banking/corporate finance environments.
• Experience with SAP and financial reporting processes.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily accounting operations and month-end/year-end closings in SAP.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages in HFM and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Support treasury activities: cash monitoring, currency tracking and treasury reporting.
• Coordinate BE GAAP statutory reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements incl. National Bank of Belgium.
• Serve as key contact for auditors, banks and external authorities.
• Support financial analyses, documentation and administrative treasury activities.

To strengthen our Global Treasury organization, we are looking for a Treasury & General Administrative Expert (m/f/d) to join our Brussels-based treasury entity (2 people).

This role offers a unique combination of Treasury, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Compliance, providing broad exposure to international finance activities and close collaboration with stakeholders across the Symrise Group.

As part of our Global Treasury Team, you will contribute to the management of intercompany financing activities, including intra-group loans and intellectual property licensing arrangements with Symrise subsidiaries worldwide.

You will work in a highly international environment while serving as a key local finance expert for our Belgian entity.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and month-end/year-end closings in SAP
• Prepare monthly reporting packages in HFM and perform intercompany reconciliations
• Support recurring treasury activities, including cash monitoring, currency tracking and treasury reporting
• Coordinate Belgian GAAP (BE GAAP) statutory reporting and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including reporting to the National Bank of Belgium
• Act as a key contact for auditors, banking partners and external authorities
• Support financial analyses, documentation and administrative activities related to treasury operations

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, treasury or a broad finance function
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, ideally including Belgian GAAP
• Treasury knowledge, preferably gained in a banking, treasury or corporate finance environment
• Experience with SAP and financial reporting processes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience interacting with auditors, banks and regulatory institutions
• Fluent English; French and/or Dutch would be an advantage
