Job summary

Mecanic Systems, a dynamic SME operating since 1978 in sheet metal work and mechanical welding in Belgium, seeks a TIG–MIG–Laser welder to join the team. You will operate welding machines independently, work with steel, aluminium and stainless steel, using MIG, TIG, laser and spot welding.

You will ensure high-quality welds, check tolerances, and maintain precise finishes while collaborating with the programming department to improve quality and production time. A two-shift schedule is requested.

Qualifications

• Basic welding training or professional welding experience.
• Excellent technical drawing skills and good 3D vision.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments (caliper, tape measure).
• Flexibility to work two shifts.
• Rigour, discipline, a positive attitude and meticulous work.
• Desire to progress within the company and learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machine completely independently.
• Work with different materials: steel, aluminium, stainless steel.
• Use MIG, TIG, laser and spot welding processes.
• Ensure high-quality welds by proper setup and alignment on welding tables.
• Check weld quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintain tolerances and master grinding and sanding techniques.
• Liaise with programming department to improve quality and production time.

Mecanic Systems is a dynamic SME that has been operating since 1978 in sheet metal work and mechanical welding, mainly in the subcontracting market. We need reinforcements, and that could be you!

We are seeking a TIG – MIG – Laser welder to join our team.

Function :

• Operate a welding machine completely independently.
• Work with different materials: steel, aluminium, stainless steel.
• You will be required to use different welding processes: MIG, TIG, laser and spot welding.
• Ensure that you are working in the best conditions to achieve a high-quality result: use of a template, proper assembly and fixing on welding tables, etc.
• Check the quality of the weld; you are responsible for the quality and compliance of the parts produced with the customer's specifications.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements in terms of finish and tolerances. Master grinding and sanding techniques.
• Maintain constant dialogue with the programming department in order to improve quality and production time, or suggest corrections and improvements.
