DEME is seeking an Marine Engineer watch-keeping candidate to support the Engineering department on dredging vessels such as TSHD, CSD or split barges. You will assist in maintaining engines to ensure 24/7 production and comply with STCW regulations.

You bring maritime engineering education and an appropriate COC rating, plus fluency in English, with a hands-on, no-nonsense approach and strong HSE awareness.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Engineering watch on board TSHD, CSD or split barge.
• Perform duties per STCW regulations and company procedures.
• Support maintenance and repair of on-board technical equipment under supervision of engineers.
• Monitor and uphold quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects.

As a member of the Engineering department, you maintain the engines to let our vessels run smoothly in order to secure their 24/7 production.

Your responsibilities

• You assist the Engineering watch on board of a TSHD, CSD or split barge
• You carry out duties according to STCW regulation
• You assist in maintaining and repairing the technical equipment on board according to instructions of the Second and First Engineer
• You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system

Your profile

• You completed a maritime education in Engineering
• You have at least a III/4 COC Rating forming part of an Engineering watch
• A valid Passport, Seamans Book and Seafarers Medical should be obtained
• You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment
• You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality
• You speak and write English fluently
