Médiane Benelux is seeking a Test Rig Software & Integration Engineer to join a state-of-the-art R&D Test Center focused on automatic transmissions, hybrid and electric powertrains. You will develop and integrate software and hardware for advanced test rigs, driving automation and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with software focus and interest in mechatronics.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and VeriStand (National Instruments).
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink is an asset.
• Understanding of control theory is a plus.
• Experience with automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition and test equipment is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Lead software development (LabVIEW/Simulink) for test rigs using NI and dSpace hardware.
• Integrate new software and hardware into the existing test environment.
• Develop and enhance automation tools (Python/Canape) to improve testing robustness.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop software for test bench communication and automation (CAN network, Python).
• Create tools, procedures, and documentation to standardize operations across test rigs using KPIs.

Job Description

We are seeking a Test Rig Software & Integration Engineer to join an innovative R&D Test Center specializing in the development and validation of automatic transmissions, hybrid, and fully electric prototype powertrains.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and integrating cutting‑edge software and hardware solutions for advanced test rigs. Your expertise will contribute to improving testing processes, enhancing automation, and ensuring high‑quality, reliable results.

Your Responsibilities

• Take charge of the software development (LabView/Simulink) for test rigs operating on National Instruments and dSpace hardware.
• Integrate new software and hardware into the existing test environment, ensuring smooth operations by analyzing product development requirements.
• Implement and enhance automation tools (Python/Canape) to increase testing robustness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering colleagues to advise, develop, and integrate software for test bench communication and automation (CAN-network & Python).
• Develop tools, procedures, and documentation to standardize operations across all test rigs, using KPIs to improve efficiency and testing quality.

Profile / Requirements

• Engineering degree with a strong interest in mechatronic systems, preferably with a software focus.
• Proficiency in LabView/VeriStand (National Instruments).
• Knowledge of Matlab Simulink is an asset.
• Understanding of control theory is a plus.
• Experience with automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment, and electromechanics is an asset.
