Médiane Benelux is seeking an Embedded Validation Engineer to strengthen its validation team in an international R&D setting within the automotive sector. The role focuses on designing validation strategies to improve performance, energy efficiency, and CO₂ reduction across hybrid transmission technologies.

You will define MIL/SIL/HIL approaches, develop verification plans, and coordinate tests with software, hardware, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in embedded software/hardware validation (ECU, sensors, actuators).
• Strong understanding of embedded validation methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Define embedded validation strategies (MIL/SIL/HIL, virtual validation, unit & integration testing).
• Create and maintain verification plans, specifications, and validation reports.
• Participate in requirement validation across different system levels.
• Coordinate testing activities with software, hardware, suppliers, and validation teams.
• Execute test analysis and reporting of validation results.
• Support planning and follow-up of validation campaigns.
• Translate abstract validation needs into concrete test requests.
• Contribute to issue resolution and ensure project milestones are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary international engineering teams.

Profile / Requirements

Required profile

Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent

Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In The Automotive Industry

• Experience in embedded software/hardware validation (ECU, sensors, actuators)
• Strong understanding of embedded validation methodologies

Experience With The Following Tools And Standards

• UDS / XCP
• MATLAB / Simulink
• VECTOR CANape / CANalyzer
• HIL frameworks
• Experience in hybrid powertrains or automatic transmissions is a strong advantage

Professional level of English (written and spoken)
