ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, is seeking an NVH Test Rig Engineer to manage and optimize its state-of-the-art NVH test rigs for conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The role involves hands-on operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement within the R&D Test Center.

You will collaborate with test engineering, NVH, and R&D teams to ensure rigorous testing processes, KPI-driven improvements, and documentation for standardization.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with interest in mechatronic systems.
• Basic knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, NVH, and high voltage applications.
• Programming background is required.
• Knowledge of automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment and electro mechanics is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Operate and develop one of the most advanced NVH test rigs in the region to evaluate NVH performance for various powertrains.
• Take ownership of assigned test rigs, ensuring high-quality operation, routine maintenance, upgrades, and continuous efficiency improvements.
• Act as the primary contact for operational issues, resolving problems systematically to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and improve tests on test bench platforms such as PUMA and CANape, focusing on innovation and precision.
• Collaborate with test engineering, NVH engineering, test rig operators, and R&D to optimize testing processes.
• Develop tools and documentation to standardize operation across test rigs by setting and using KPIs to enhance testing quality and efficiency.
• Work in the R&D Test Center where automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric prototype powertrains are assembled and validated.

Job Description

As an NVH Test Rig Engineer, your primary focus will be on the NVH test rig, ensuring the execution of component and system tests to assess NVH performance for conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

Job Description

• Operate and develop one of the most advanced NVH test rigs in the region, conducting tests to evaluate the NVH performance for conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains.
• Take ownership of assigned test rigs, ensuring high-quality operation, routine maintenance, necessary upgrades, and continuous efficiency improvements.
