DEMO Antwerpen is seeking a T-shaped Test Engineer to join our team. The role covers end-to-end validation of wholesale mobile and IoT connectivity products, ensuring quality from network components to backend platforms.

You will configure setups, document solutions, manage test data, and coordinate validations across new implementations with internal teams and third parties. You’ll perform INT, UAT and PRD validations and support releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a similar role.
• End-to-end testing of frontend and backend.
• Strong SQL/DB and API knowledge.
• Java (17) experience and Playwright in Java.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct business, functional, and technical analysis of new products.
• Design and solutioning for new implementations.
• Configure reference data (IoT indexation, tech config, etc.).
• Coordinate technical implementations and validations for new end-to-end flows.
• Document business processes, requirements, and solutions.
• Perform end-to-end validations, including INT, UAT and PRD validations.
• Coordinate BAT validations.
• Manage test data and create test plans.
• Follow up on defects and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Provide nightly support for releases and fixes.
• Collaborate with third parties and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and validation.
• Document legacy and existing solutions from a full end to end perspective ensuring low level understanding of all processes and flows.

Description/Role:

We are looking for a T-shaped Test Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end validation of our wholesale mobile and IoT connectivity products, ensuring the quality and functionality of our systems from network components to backend platforms. Not only validation will be your responsibility you will also be assisting in configuration of setups and documentation of solutions.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Must have skills

• End-to-end testing experience (frontend and backend)
• Understanding of SQL/DB knowledge
• Experience with API knowledge (REST/SOAP)
• Experienced in Java (17) programming
• Experienced in Playwright scripting using Java
• Able to configure ELK stack and interpret Kibana dashboards
• Able to configure Gitlab and execute/analyze run results
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing environments
