Uni Systems in Belgium is looking for a Test Automation Specialist to join our UniQue team. You will design, prepare and monitor automated tests and help integrate automation within the testing process.

You will work with Java, Web Services and CI/CD tools to build test automation architectures, create reporting and enable transition from manual to automated testing. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT.
• 11 years of IT experience.
• At least 1 year of Java experience.
• At least 1 year of Web Services experience.
• Strong knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
• Experience creating test automation solutions with programming.
• Experience with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
• Experience with test data management.
• Experience with SQL and databases.
• Experience with CI techniques and Bamboo, Git.
• Experience with testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Docker and containerisation.
• Familiarity with interoperability technologies and SOA.

Responsabilités

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Test Automation Specialist to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, preparation and monitoring of automated tests
• Contribution to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process
• Evaluation of the tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach
• Creation of an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture
• Design and development (new or modified) of test automation solutions that meet the business needs and apply continuous integration technologies, especially targeting backend/web service-based interfaces
• Enabling the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach
• Creation of automated test reporting and metrics collection
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in IT and years 11 of experience in IT
• At least 1 year of specific expertise in Java
• At least 1 year of specific expertise in Web Services
• Good knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques
• Experience in the creation of test automation solutions involving own programming
• Good knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools
• Experience in the test data management
• Experience with scripting and programming{{:}} Java, Groovy
• Experience working with SQL and database servers
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
• Knowledge of Relational DBMS
• Experience using continuous integration techniques and tools{{:}} Bamboo, Git
• Experience using testing tools{{:}} SoapUI, Postman, Selenium WebDriver
• Experience working with containerisation tools{{:}} Docker
• Familiarity with interoperability technology (e.g., web services, message-oriented middleware)
• Fluent in English at least at a level B1
