Consort Group in Brussels is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to define, implement, and maintain test automation across multiple applications, ensuring quality before deployment to acceptance environments. You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with developers and the project lead.

The role is roughly 30% test specification, 30% test automation, 30% test execution and defect follow-up, and 10% reporting, with English as the working language and French and/or Dutch knowledge

Qualifications

• Proven experience in test design, writing test plans and test scenarios.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and teamwork.
• Strong skills in test automation and report generation.
• Programming or scripting experience, especially Python.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with APIs, Web Services, and testing security.

Responsabilités

• Define, execute, and automate tests across applications.
• Develop and maintain test automation.
• Execute test plans, document results, and log evidence.
• Collaborate with developers and project lead to ensure quality.
• Provide go/no-go for deployment from test to acceptance.
