Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager (IT/Software) based in Brussels, Belgium. You will integrate with the Development team and work closely with a major client IT team on site.

The role is full-time and on-site, with EU candidate eligibility only. The ideal candidate has a university IT degree and at least 15 years of IT experience, with deep expertise in manual and automated testing, data quality checks, and test automation across Agile projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT with extensive IT experience.
• Excellent experience with manual and automation testing.
• Experience in test data preparation and data quality checks.
• Minimum 3 years with test automation tools/techniques and Agile/Sprint methods.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Proven experience with WebdriverIO, Selenium or Protractor.
• Familiarity with Zephyr for JIRA and SOAPUI.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Define test plans, test cases, and build test scripts.
• Prepare and maintain test data for QA cycles.
• Execute tests and report results clearly.
• Transition to automated testing practices in projects.
• Evaluate automation tools and technologies for DevSecOps.
• Design and develop automated test architectures and solutions.
• Create automated test reports and metrics.
• Support stakeholders during user acceptance testing.
