Job summary

Uni Systems is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the UniQue team. You will define test plans, create automated tests, and drive data quality checks across cloud-enabled projects in an Agile environment.

The role requires a strong background in automation tools (WebdriverIO/Selenium/Protractor), API testing (SOAPUI), and test management (Zephyr for Jira). Fluent English and good French are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT with 11+ years of relevant experience (or Bachelor’s with 15+ years).
• ISTQB Specialist Level certifications: Automation Engineer, Acceptance Testing, or Advanced Level Test Analyst.
• At least 3 years of experience with test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
• Minimum 3 years in Agile/Sprint based IT project methodologies.
• Experience with SQL data quality checks on data stored in databases/data lakes.
• Experience with web application testing tools (WebdriverIO, Selenium, Protractor).
• Experience in test management tools (Zephyr for Jira).
• Experience with API testing tool (SOAPUI).
• Experience with public cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of data-driven testing (data warehouse, data lakes, data mining).
• Knowledge of relational DBMS (MS SQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Spark, ML, DL and AI would be an asset.
• Advanced English (C1) and French (B1/B2).

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT and at least 11 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of experience).
• A certification in one of the followings: ISTQB Specialist Level Test Automation Engineer, ISTQB Specialist Level Test Acceptance Testing, ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst.
• At least 3 years of experience with test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
• Minimum of 3 years in working in Agile/Sprint based IT project methodologies.
• At least 1 year with data quality checking when such data is stored in databases and/or data lakes using SQL.
• Experience with web application testing tool, like WebdriverIO, Selenium or Protractor.
• Experience in Test Management Tool, like Zephir for JIRA and Defect Tracking Tools.
• Previous experience with an API testing tool, like SOAPUI.
• Experience with public cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of data-driven solutions testing (data warehouse, data lakes, data mining).
• Knowledge of relational database management systems such as MS SQL, Oracle.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Spark, ML, Deep Learning and AI would be an asset.
• Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken) and French (B1/B2).
