OPTIMUS IT SERVICES seeks an Automation Tester to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using OpenText UFT and VBScript. You will optimize UFT repositories and enhance reusability across hybrid frameworks, while coordinating test cycles with HP ALM.

Responsibilities include defect analysis, functional testing, and early defect detection, plus collaboration with IS teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of insurance and project management is a plus, with English, Dutch, and French

• Experience with automated test scripting using UFT and VBScript.
• Experience with HP ALM.
• Knowledge of data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches.
• Ability to plan and execute test cycles and manage test suites.
• Strong analytical skills and teamwork.
• Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.

Develop, execute, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using OpenText UFT.

Create and maintain automated test scripts using VBScript and Hybrid Frameworks.

Optimize existing UFT Object Repositories and improve automation scripts for reusability and reliability.

Manage test cycles, test suites, test planning, and test execution using HP ALM.

Analyze test results and identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.

Distinguish between automation/script maintenance issues and genuine application defects.

Perform functional testing and contribute to early defect detection.

Maintain test assets to ensure long-term reliability and maintainability.

Work closely with Testing Teams, IS teams, business stakeholders, and management to resolve testing issues.

Support continuous improvement of testing processes, automation practices, governance, and coordination.

Use Azure DevOps/VSTS for boards, epics, features, user stories, test plans, and related testing activities.

Support basic Power BI reporting activities, including understanding report structures, data refresh, and data consistency.

Provide clear and structured reporting on test progress, defects, risks, and results.
