Job summary

Asap.be is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician for an international chocolate producer to support the production department. You’ll be part of a skilled team ensuring the reliability and efficiency of machinery through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

You’ll work closely with fellow technicians, line operators and supervisors, reporting directly to the technical supervisor. Your mission is to keep everything running like a well-oiled machine.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on machinery and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and installations.
• Assist in machine setups and technical interventions.
• Contribute to technical improvement projects.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety according to standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance.
• Manage production-related side streams (waste, recycling, ...).
• Participate in internal quality and safety training sessions.
• Carry out and register required quality inspections.
