Belgie Vacature is seeking a maintenance specialist for a global leader in automated logistics solutions in Aalst, Belgium. You will manage a cutting-edge distribution and storage center, focusing on downtime reduction, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.

The role requires a technical degree and broad PLC knowledge, with on-call duties and shift flexibility. Fluency in Dutch or English is essential, and safety compliance is a priority.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in maintenance techniques, mechanical engineering, electromechanics or electricity.
• Broad PLC knowledge (Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, MoviTools).
• Familiarity with Fieldbus, Profibus, drivers, scanners, and electrical diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Actively reduce downtime and increase efficiency of installations.
• Ensure seamless flow of material handling systems (pallet/box transport).
• Champion continuous improvement in a KPI-driven lean maintenance environment.
• Handle corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
