Optimile is seeking a Technical Writer for a one-year period, hybrid in Ghent, Belgium. You will turn complex product and API information into clear, structured content, collaborating with developers and SMEs in an Agile setup.

The role supports payroll or freelance arrangements, with ownership of documentation scope and ongoing updates. You will write in Markdown, use VS Code, GitLab and Zensical, and focus on user-friendly documentation tailored to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in software/SaaS environments.
• Hands-on docs as code experience with Zensical, VS Code and GitLab.
• Native-level English writing skills, able to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Experience collaborating with developers and tech SMEs to capture details.
• User- and customer-centric mindset with attention to detail.
• Structured, proactive, and self-driven with ownership mindset.
• Able to work effectively in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
• Affinity with EV mobility or related industry is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Create, structure and maintain clear technical and product documentation for software and APIs.
• Work in a docs-as-code environment and write in Markdown.
