Job summary

Euro London Appointments Ltd in Belgium is seeking a Technical Trainer for industrial machinery. You will deliver practical training to customers, partners and internal teams through classroom sessions, machine demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

You will train on equipment operation, setup and troubleshooting, develop training materials and assessments, adapt to different skill levels, and collaborate with engineering and service teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting or supporting industrial machinery or equipment.
• Ability to explain mechanical, electrical and/or equipment‑related concepts clearly.
• Confidence working directly with machinery and demonstrating it to others.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to develop presentation and training skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Technical Trainer – Industrial Machinery

Would you like to use your hands-on experience to help customers and technicians understand, operate and troubleshoot equipment?

Our client, an international industrial technology company, is recruiting a Technical Trainer to deliver practical training to customers, partners and internal technical teams.

This opportunity would suit someone with a background in field service, maintenance, technical support, applications, commissioning or engineering who enjoys explaining how equipment works and helping others develop their skills.

Hands-on experience with industrial machinery is essential. Previous experience as a professional trainer is not required.

The role

You will deliver technical training through classroom sessions, machine demonstrations, practical exercises and digital learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Training customers, service technicians, partners and internal technical teams
• Demonstrating equipment operation, setup and correct use
• Leading practical exercises directly on machinery
• Explaining machine functionality, technical concepts and troubleshooting procedures
• Creating and updating training materials, presentations and assessments
• Adapting your approach to participants with different levels of technical experience
• Working with engineering, service and product teams to keep training content accurate and current
• Assessing participant progress and maintaining training records

Your background

You have practical experience installing, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting or supporting industrial machinery or equipment.

You may currently be a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Applications Engineer, Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or Technical Trainer.

You will also bring:

• The ability to explain mechanical, electrical and/or equipment-related concepts clearly
• Confidence working directly with machinery and demonstrating it to others
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to develop your presentation and training skills
• Fluent English; Dutch or French would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally when required
