BlooLoc, a Hasselt-based technology company, seeks an experienced Technical Project Engineer to lead technical implementations and support clients across international markets. The role is on-site with around 60% travel, requiring hands-on installation and field problem-solving.

You will install RTLS systems, train customers, prepare docs, and liaise with R&D to improve products. Belgium-based travel may include Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support, implementation or project engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Clear communication and structured, customer-focused work style.
• Basic understanding of networking technologies (VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet).

Responsabilités

• Advise customers and installation partners on product selection, installation and integration.
• Install, mount, configure, test and validate RTLS systems on customer sites.
• Perform hands-on installation activities, including mounting hardware and cabling.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.
• Prepare project documentation, specifications, BOMs and handover documents.
• Design basic technical drawings for installation materials.
• Deliver technical training to customers and partners on site and remotely.
• Share field feedback with Supply Chain and R&D to improve products.

BlooLoc is a technology company headquartered in Hasselt. We develop advanced indoor positioning solutions used globally in logistics, manufacturing, and smart buildings. To strengthen our Customer Success Team, we’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Engineer to lead technical implementations and support clients across international markets.

Role Overview

This is not a pure engineering or consulting role. We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and working on site. You think through technical challenges, but you're equally comfortable installing hardware, validating systems and solving issues in the field. You will regularly work on site, with around 60% travel as part of the role.

What You'll Do

• Advise customers and installation partners on product selection, installation and integration.
• Install, mount, configure, test and validate RTLS systems on customer sites.
• Perform hands-on installation activities, including mounting hardware, fitting brackets, supporting cabling activities and commissioning systems.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.
• Prepare clear project documentation, specifications, bills of materials and handover documents.
• Design basic technical drawings for custom installation materials, mainly brackets.
• Deliver technical training to customers and partners, both on site and remotely.
• Share field feedback with Supply Chain and R&D to improve our products and processes.

Who You Are

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• You reside in Belgium and are legally authorized to work here
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ICT, Electronics, Electromechanics, etc.)
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support, implementation or project engineering.
• You’re capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• You communicate clearly, work in a structured way, and are customer-focused
• You have a basic understanding of networking technologies (VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet)
• You’re willing to travel up to 60%, including outside Europe
