Jobtailor in Brussels is seeking an Installation Engineer to manage installation and bring-up of EPS installations at customer sites, guide clients’ engineers, and coordinate project plans with stakeholders.

You will work autonomously at client sites in the Brussels area, travel to customers, configure, calibrate, and validate systems, provide first-line technical support, and lead product demonstrations when needed. English required; Dutch or French appreciated; Linux/Python experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or computer engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical role, or proof of the necessary skillset.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• English required; Dutch and/or French appreciated.
• Able to travel to Brussels area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Work independently at client sites in collaboration with the project engineering team at headquarters in Leuven.

Requirements

• Live in the Brussels area, ideally on the west side toward Aalst
• Able to travel easily to customers’ sites in the Brussels area
• English is a must
• Dutch and/or French is very appreciated; one of the two languages is key
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or computer engineering
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in a technical role, or proof of the necessary skillset
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interest in mechanics, electronics, computer vision, positioning systems, and safety applications
• Able to work autonomously without micro-management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify bottlenecks and issues proactively
• Systematic and accurate working style according to predefined planning
• Flexible and hands‑on
• Able to prioritize and manage several open issues
• Driver’s license
• Some Linux and Python experience is a plus, but not required
