Sioen Industries in Belgium seeks a Technical Manager to drive maintenance, optimization and team leadership at its production site. The role blends strategic insight with hands-on execution to foster growth of processes and people.

You will structure preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor KPIs, and present investment analyses to the CEO. A strong engineering background and multi-language communication are valued for cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in electromechanics.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• Autonomous, analytical and solution-oriented.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to motivate the team.

Responsabilités

• Organize maintenance, optimize the production site and lead the technical team.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Solve technical issues and analyze them further.

• Coordinate between the technical departments within the Coating division.

As a Technical Manager, you are the driving force behind the maintenance and optimization of our production site. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and ensure that both processes and people continue to grow.

What you do

• You are responsible for organizing maintenance, optimizing the production site, and leading and supporting the technical team.
• You are responsible for implementing a preventive and corrective maintenance plan.
• You are able to solve technical issues and analyze them further.
• You monitor KPIs and performance, and make investment proposals when needed.
• You coordinate between the technical departments within the Coating division.
• You work constructively with the prevention advisor and environmental coordinator.
• You prepare investment budgets, support them with the necessary analyses, and present them to the CEO in a clear and convincing manner.

Who you are

• You hold a higher education degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in electromechanics.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• You are autonomous, analytical, and solution-oriented.
• You are responsible, detail-oriented, and able to motivate your team.
• You have a passion for technology and strive for continuous optimization.
• You have a good command of Dutch, French, and English.
